Olaf Reiter was born in 1960 in Leipzig, Saxony, GDR. After succesfully completing his final secondary-school examinations and an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, he studied Architecture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar.
In 1991, after the fall of the GDR, Mr. Reiter began working as a freelance architect, opening an office in Dresden. He specializes in ecological and energy-saving building, particularly in the planning of passivhaus buildings.
Mr. Reiter has won numerous awards for innovation in design of low energy buildings and has a fifteen year record of delivering high quality, creative and innovative Passivhaus structures.
